James G. Moose

Mr. Moose received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1981 and his juris doctor degree from the same university in 1985.

James G. Moose joined Remy and Thomas in 1986, and became a partner in August 1990. Since the late 1980s, he has taught courses on CEQA through the University of California Extension Program. Starting in 1991, he has taught courses on CEQA on behalf of the Association of Environmental Professionals. Within the City of Sacramento and Sacramento County, he has served on a number of advisory bodies addressing environmental issues related to recycling specifically and integrated waste management generally. He has often testified in the California Legislature on environmental issues, and has participated in drafting amendments to CEQA and other environmental laws.
