Whitman F. Manley Whitman F. Manley received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1981, and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Cornell Law School in 1987. Mr. Manley came to Remy and Thomas in 1991, and joined the partnership in 1996. From 1988 to 1991, he was an associate in the environmental law group at the San Francisco firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen (now Bingham McCutchen). Prior to his stint at Bingham McCutchen, he served as law clerk to the late Robert F. Peckham, Chief Judge of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of California. While at Cornell Law School, he was Editor in Chief of the Cornell Law Review.
