History

In 1982, Michael H. Remy, the principal in Remy and Associates, invited Tina A. Thomas to become his partner, forming the firm Remy and Thomas. In 1990, James G. Moose joined the partnership. In 1996, the firm changed its name to Remy, Thomas and Moose, LLP, and Whitman F. Manley became a partner. In April 2003, Michael H. Remy passed away, and the firm name was changed to Remy, Thomas, Moose and Manley, LLP. In December 2005, Andrea Leisy was added as a partner. Tiffany Wright was added as a partner in June 2006. Sabrina Teller and Ashle Crocker joined the partnership in December 2006.

Other Activities

Tina Thomas, Jim Moose and Whit Manley periodically publish a book entitled, "Guide to the California Environmental Quality Act" (11th ed. 2006 Solano Press). The book has been frequently cited as a leading scholarly authority on CEQA in published decisions of the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. The partners have also been invited to speak at numerous local, regional, state, and national planning conferences, including those sponsored by the Association of Environmental Professionals, the National Institute of Municipal Law Offices, UC Davis Extension, UCLA Extension, California Continuing Education of the Bar, CLE International, the City Attorneys' Continuing Education Seminars, and the Sacramento Area Chamber of Commerce.
