Kathryn C. Cotter

Ms. Cotter received her Juris Doctorate from U.C. Davis, King Hall School of Law in 2006, where she was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Water Law. She served as an Executive Editor at Environs, the law school's environmental journal, during the 2005-2006 school year and co-chaired the Journal's symposium on the California Environmental Quality Act in 2005. During law school, Ms. Cotter clerked at both the California Attorney General's Office and at the U.S. Attorney's Office, and served as a teaching assistant for an environmental law class for U.C. Davis undergraduates in the Spring of 2005. Before attending law school, Ms. Cotter worked at the California Public Interest Research Group and went on to join the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Virginia in 1999.
